Hey guys! This week I'm tackling (part two) of my Spring Clean With Me on my YouTube Channel! It is a ton of work to get the entire house clean all at once, but once it's done, it's so worth it!! Today, I'm tackling my master bedroom & bathroom, as well as the ENTIRE basement! I'm sharing tips & lots of motivation to help you tackle your todo list right along with me in today's video!

S P R I N G C L E A N I N G
Whenever I begin my cleaning routine, I open all windows & doors! This just brings so much brightness & fresh air into our home, and gives me so much motivation to get started! Spring Cleaning is all about giving yourself a FRESH start! Whether you tackle it all in one day, or do little by little, the difference you'll feel as you progress & once you're done will be amazing! So tackle those dreaded, cluttered areas (that's right, I'm talking under the beds, in the shower & bathroom sinks!) You Got This!!
Use a checklist to keep yourself focused & on task! I use the reminder app on the iPhone, so you don't need to get fancy with your list, just find something that works for you!

S L O W V A C U U M I N G
When I need a good cleaning done to my floors, I will slow vacuum. This has made a HUGE difference in my floors! Just start with a regular vacuum on your floor, empty your canister, and vacuum the area again at a VERY slow pace! You'll be AMAZED at how much slow vacuuming will get out of your floors!! I love to do this once every 1-2 weeks - but especially do this before carpet cleaning! It will make an even bigger difference!!

My favorite product to use when cleaning hard water stains in a shower or tub, is my CLR Bathroom Cleaner! If you don't have a CLR Cleaner, you can use Dawn Dish Soap & White Vinegar in a 1:1 mixture in a spray bottle. Spray it on & let it sit for about 5 minutes, and scrub! Another great tip - I like to use is Dollar Store scrub brushes, rinse and then go back over it with a Magic Eraser! These products, along with a good scrubbing, will make your shower & tub look brand new!
F A M I L Y P I C K - U P
Including everyone in a quick family pick-up, especially in those main areas everyone spends time in, will cut the amount of time it takes to finish! In a family pick-up, it will take us 5-10 minutes instead of 15-20 to do it by myself! It sets a great example for your kids to be involved in household chores as well. Not only will they learn skills they will use as they get older, but they will grow an appreciation for the hard work you do!
T I P S T O C L E A N W I T H K I D S
During our Spring Cleaning this year, Kyle & I worked individually with each kid to clean their room really well. As their ages differed, the process looked different for each of them! For our oldest, having fun, lighthearted conversation kept us both engaged. For our youngest, Kyle made up a fun game to keep Noah involved. This helped so much! Find a way that fits your family to make cleaning up fun & engaging, to get the job done quicker & make a fun memory out of it!

B A S E B O A R D S , W A L L S & C A B I N E T S
I used a multi-surface concentrate mixed with warm water in a bowl and used a reusable rag to wipe my baseboards, walls and cabinets! It prevents waste from sprays, and also from drippings getting on your walls & floors! Grab some knee pads to save your knees from aches & pains while you're scrubbing! - these have been a life saver (or at least a knee saver!)
W I N D O W S & M I R R O R S
I personally love my E-cloths for any and all cleaning, but especially for my windows! You just add water, and they leave my windows sparkly clean! It helps me to not waste so many paper towels, and I just feel like the finished product looks so amazing.
