Hey guys! I'm so excited to share with you guys my New Modern Boho Office Makeover on my YouTube Channel! This space has become such a functional space, and a place I love to work... but that wasn't always the case. I'm sharing all the details in my YouTube video linked below! I do still have a few touches to add into this office makeover, but I'm SO excited to share how I put it together, and of course a few tips along the way!

Before starting I makeover, I always ask:
What are the problems in this space?
What are the functions you want to accomplish in this room?
Once I have these questions answered, I'm able to really focus in on what changes need to be made in the room. Let's get started!
CLEAN UP & MAKE A PLAN!
A quick pick-up & declutter gives you a clean slate & a fresh mind to start your makeover! Before we started, we knew what items we were keeping, and what was being taken out. This helped the cleaning & decluttering process go so much smoother, because we knew exactly what went where! As you can see in the video, this room became a catch-all because there was no system already in place. This forced me to go through each item and decide what was going where.
START SMALL & TAKE YOUR TIME!
Focus on one section at a time. A large area can be so overwhelming if you're trying to take it on all at once! Don't feel rushed to make the space look great. Makeovers usually take me weeks to plan out everything I want. Make sure you find things you LOVE & are INSPIRED by!
You can CUSTOMIZE Ikea furniture by adding doors, legs, drawer pulls, or whatever makes the furniture piece unique to you and your style! This is another great tip to stay on budget but giving your space a fresh look.
BE FLEXIBLE & ALLOW HICCUPS!
Sometimes what we envision just doesn't turn out! I hardly ever have a makeover without some type of hiccup! Having an open mind & looking at several options will help you find the best set up for you!
