Creating a Cleaning Routine THAT WORKS!

Hey guys! It's springtime and we all know what that means.. IT'S TIME TO CLEAN! There are so many pre-made cleaning checklists online available to us, but honestly, they get me SO overwhelmed! I've come to learn that making my very own cleaning list, with realistic expectations for MYSELF + MY FAMILY is what's best. Here are some tips to make a cleaning routine for you.. that will actually stick!

Also in today's video, I'll also be sharing my workout, food prep, & cleaning routines on my YouTube channel!

Decide what needs to be cleaned on a regular basis. Make three categories and split up your chores based on where they fit! (Download my FREE Printable to help!)

DAILY // WEEKLY // MONTHLY

What days can YOU have some time to dedicate to cleaning? Find what days are most available in YOUR schedule to getting these chores done. If Monday's are your busiest days of the week, try scheduling your simple chores that day (if any at all) & bulk up your cleaning routine for Tuesday-Friday!

Be realistic. In your daily chore list, you just can't get every single thing done. Life happens! Choose the realistic things you can get done in a day, which are probably the ones most important to you! Prioritize your chores, with your most important at the top of your list, and least important at the bottom. Then decide what's realistic for you! Don't get discouraged if you can't get everything done every day. Cleaning lists are really meant to be used as a guideline.

Your cleaning routine has to be personal to YOU. Adjust your cleaning schedule to your life & your needs. Your cleaning routine will stick long term by being really picky on WHAT gets put onto the list (and what doesn't)!
