Hey guys! I'm so excited to share with you guys Episode 2 of our -NEW- Budget Boho Makeover Series on my YouTube Channel! We transformed my sister's guest bedroom into a peaceful, welcoming space. We tried something new this time around, adding a little more boldness than we usually do -- including a stencil! THAT was a project, but I LOVE how it turned out!

Before I start any makeover, I always ask:
What are the problems in this space?
What are the functions you want to accomplish in this space?
Once I have these questions answered, I'm able to really focus in on what changes need to be made in the room. Then, the planning starts!
- CLEAN UP & MAKE A PLAN! -
A quick pick-up & declutter gives you a clean slate & a fresh mind to start your makeover!
- START SMALL & TAKE YOUR TIME! -
A large area can be so overwhelming if you're trying to take it on all at once! Don't feel rushed to make the space look great. Makeovers usually take me weeks to plan out everything I want. Make sure you find things you LOVE & are INSPIRED by!
- CUSTOMIZE AFFORDABLE PIECES -
You can CUSTOMIZE Ikea furniture by adding custom drawer pulls or painting furniture you already have! This is another great tip to stay on budget but giving your space a fresh look.
We also found a stencil to really give a POP to the room. It took A LOT of hours, but the end result was SO worth it! We found that paint markers (and a lot of patience) was the best way to go for this! I can't wait for you guys to all see how it turned out.
- ADD YOUR OWN TOUCH + DIYS -
We added our DIY Pipe Curtain Rod to their living and dining room! This gave a unique look, while staying within budget!
- BE FLEXIBLE & ALLOW HICCUPS! -
Sometimes what we envision just doesn't turn out! I hardly ever have a makeover without some type of hiccup! Having an open mind & looking at several options will help you find the best set up for you!
